Is this the best way to deal wih this?

So i really want to move to a different country than my family so i dont have to see them again. My dad has hit me a few times but never hard enouh to leave a bruise, but it was totally uncalled for and hes never apologized and expects everyone to forget it. He laughs it off when you confront him about it later.my mother just told me today to just go along with him when he says saomething so he doesnt get mad and im sick of it. So im just going to cut off contact with them and move because i just cant deal with this and their constant fighting over nothing and the fact that my dad hits me when i accidentally drop a box of pears or because i stepped on the heel of his shoe. I would hit him back but im a girl and he could put me in the hospital...im going to college soon anyway so i dont even care anymore. I just want to never see or think about them again.
