What do you do about a friend who gets ticked when you say u don't like her fav authors?

after months of hounding by a friend to read a book series she'd been reading, i read the first book. not only did the author bore me, she sounded like she was on crack. she skipped around so much,and made *no* sense. i told my friend as much, and that i had no interest in reading the series(i'd told her b4 that i wasn't interested in reading it, but she just wouldn't leave me alone, claiming the author was "genius") now she's after me to read her new obession, the Twilight series. i don't wanna read that series, bc of the sucky performance of the other author she hounded me about,and i've heard equally bad reviews for said other author. i have no desire to read it. it's not my type of vampire genre. how do i save the friendship and not go nuts listening to her go on and on about what i'm missing?
