Your views on FanFic?

Personally I love fan fic. I am an avid reader and am on a limited income that prevents me from buying new books often, so to me this is a great medium. I still like reading books and get them as often as I can afford to, but for day to day reading it is a good outlet. Of course you do get the bad (poorly written, bad spelling/grammar) with the good and I personally think that it is a good outlet for people to re write stories when they have been disappointed in the authors ideas or endings. And any show of imagination is better than none.
